Harley Boots

Over a hundred years ago during the dawn of motorcycles, riders quickly learned that riding is no joke. Harley riders in the begining saw that since they were riding what amounted to motorized horses they needed extremely strong durable boots to protect their feet and ankles. Harley riders tried different types of boots from cowboy boots to regular horseback riding boots until they realized that the type of boot that worked best for riding Harley’s were Engineer boots. Engineer boots are the boots that train engineers used to wear to protect their feet shins and ankles from the rigors of keeping the trains going. Engineer boots were not made for looks and not made of buttery soft materials. They were made to strong and protective for almost anything that engineering threw their harley-logoway. Well being on a Harley at speed required the protection that engineer boots could deliver. Bikers quickly realized that biker boots needed to be made of full grain thick genuine leather and have a strong leather and rubber sole and heel. Biker boot leather needed to be strong and stiff for the contant shifting and protection  of the feet. Biker boots were not for those who wanted creature comforts but for those who wanted to survive.

Several years ago Harley Davidson decided to have products made that catered to die-hard bikers who simply won’t ride anything else. One of the first things they needed was biker gear such as leather jackets, vests and boots. Well, since they don’t know how to make these things in their Harley factory they went to a company who did. One of the companies was Wolverine World Wide. Since Wolverine World Wide has been in boot making business for almost a hundred years, it made sense to have them make Harley Davidson boots. Harley Davidson boots are crafted for rigors and performance that Bikers need. Harley boots need to tough and they are. Because if Harley boots weren’t tough, Harley Davison riders wouldn’t buy them. Harley boots are made of exactly what Harley riders need. Strong full grain leather uppers and a thick leather and rubber sole for vibration reduction. Bikers know that you can’t go wrong with boots with the Harley Davidson logo on it.
