I used to buy these from a little shop in in camden (UK) run by too old guys, and for me it was in the 1980s, they did a shoe version a well and often in contrasting two tone suede, I loved them.

I love walking suits. I hope that you will have more items avail for the xmas seasons. My boyfriend is a big fella. He wears a 40 waist and xxL shirt. Can you please include more walking suits in those sizes.

I’m so glad to see a close facsimile surface. These were the rage in the seventies not the eighties. I remember saving up all my money to buy a pair that were wing tip styled in black. There was a distinct pleasant odor that came from the crepe soles. I remeber that unless they had the tiny Britiish flag on the inside, they were considered imitations. They cost thirty to forty dollars back then and came in all kinds of styles ….slip on, lace up ,buckled hi top low top suede smooth leather crinkled leather patten leather. It was the coolest shoe to have in the early seventies in new york city
