Now what makes the slim fit suit different than your conventional fitting suit is how closely tailored the suit will fit your body. The torso of the jacket is closely fitted and a full inch shorter than your standard fit suit. The sleeves are also tailored fit as well, so if you have huge arms, those sleeves are not going to work for you. The pants on your slim fitting suit are both tailored fit also providing a more skinny look with the flat front pants and lower rise in the waist by an inch giving the wearer a true skinny suit fit experience and look. So, if you’re lanky of frame and want some suits that reflect your physique and style, slim fit suits for 2012 are your ticket to instant fashion and style. Men Suits of the “Boardwalk Empire”

If you’re a fan and avid watcher of HBO’s hit series “Boardwalk Empire”, there is simply no way to ignore the accurate and expansive suit wardrobe that is worn by all of male actors. “Boardwalk Empire” went to extreme lengths to recreate all of the suits and fashion of the day in the roaring ’20s during the prohibition era. Since there is really no way that they could have wearable suits for the actors for the show, wardrobe needed to have the suits recreated for them with all the glamour and style that was available back then. What the wardrobe department did was go to a custom suit maker located in New York and they analyzed old pictures of the suit styles of the day with all the suit details and fabrics available at the time and started to actually recreate the suits that were worn back the day. With the main character Nucky Thompson played by Steve Buschemi. You will notice right away that his character takes his style seriously and he is never seen in the same suit twice. There are a scene or two in the show where he is seen getting fitted by his tailor for a new suit in beautiful rich textured plaid fabrics that you don’t see too much on suits except for Mens Fashion Suits these days. The Nucky Thompson character has a sense of style and flair because since he is such a big shot in Atlantic City, it is very important for him to make sure that everyone knows he runs things there from his light blue Rolls Royce and driver to his ever changing suits and homburg hats that he exclusively wears.

“Boardwalk Empire” also did a fantastic job with all the varying manners of dress including what the bankers wore, the varying politicians wore and what the working men of the day wore. You can see the marked contrast just by paying attention at all of the characters in the show. You can immediately see who has money and who has to get his hands dirty for a living with drab attire that a working man wears compared to the perfected starched shirts and color coordinated suits that Nucky Thompson would wear. You can see that he would wear perfectly polished wingtip shoes in either solid colors or two tone spectator styles just to stand out a little more than the other men of the day in Atlantic City. If you haven’t watched “Boardwalk Empire” yet, I highly recommend checking it out. The current season has ended but you can see in either reruns or on DVD.

If you’re a lover of Gucci style loafers, I’m talking about those Italian loafers with the metal bit or bracelet on the top of the shoe, Belvedere came out with a few styles of exotic comfort for your feet with their Gucci style loafers made out of genuine crocodile skin combined with real lizard skin on the sides that just look fantastic and can be worn with your favorite suit without drawing any kind of negative attention to your self. I’ll bet that you see plenty of high paid lawyers and plastic surgeons wearing these bad boys on the low.
